Pinot and Politics

Join fellow Conservative members for an engaging evening of conversation, insight, and a glass of wine at our Pinot & Politics Evening.

We're delighted to welcome Alicia Kearns MP, who will share her experiences from her recent visit to the United States, offering first hand insights into the political landscape, international affairs, and what her discussions overseas mean for the UK. Alicia will also speak about her work in Parliament, the issues currently shaping Westminster, and her priorities as our Member of Parliament.

This is a fantastic opportunity to hear from one of the Conservative Party's leading voices, ask questions, and enjoy an informal evening in a relaxed setting.

Whether you're interested in foreign affairs, Westminster politics, or simply catching up with friends from across the Association, we'd love to see you there.

The venue is in the Stamford area and the exact location will be sent out to those who have signed up 24 hours in advance.

About Alicia

Alicia Kearns is the Conservative Member of Parliament for Rutland and Stamford. First elected in 2019, she has built a reputation as a local champion and an experienced voice on national security and foreign affairs. Before entering Parliament, Alicia worked in counter-terrorism at the Foreign and Commonwealth Office and as an independent consultant across regions. She later became Chair of the House of Commons Foreign Affairs Committee, scrutinising government policy and standing up for British interests overseas. Locally, Alicia is committed to protecting rural communities, supporting farmers and businesses, making roads safer, improving flood resilience, and tackling poor broadband and mobile coverage. She works closely with residents on their concerns, helps constituents facing difficulties, and campaigns to secure investment and improvements for communities across Rutland, Stamford and the surrounding villages.
