I joined the Management Committee of the Rutland & Stamford Conservative Association in 2026, having previously stood as the Conservative candidate for Launde Division in the 2025 Leicestershire County Council elections.
Much of my involvement in public life has centred around grassroots organisations and the role they play in strengthening communities. Since 2021, I have served as a Councillor on Tilton & Halstead Parish Council, becoming Chairman in 2023, and since 2024 I have served as Chairman of Royce Rangers Football Club. Both roles have given me the opportunity to work alongside dedicated volunteers, helping to develop organisations that serve local residents, families and young people.
My passion for grassroots organisations began at the age of seven when I joined Melton Mowbray Swimming Club. Whilst still competing, I began volunteer coaching at the age of fourteen, developing a love of helping others achieve their potential. That journey eventually led me into grassroots football, where my sons’ interest in the sport inspired me to help establish a team within a local club in 2021.
Alongside my voluntary commitments, I am a Company Director within a family-run business and enjoy balancing business, community leadership and family life.
Outside of work and volunteering, I enjoy spending time with my wife, three boys, and our two dogs, cat and rabbit. You’ll often find me walking the dogs across the beautiful countryside that makes our area such a special place to live, or tackling the latest job waiting for me at home.
Within the Association, I am particularly passionate about grassroots engagement, volunteer development, community leadership and encouraging the next generation of activists and candidates. I firmly believe political parties are at their strongest when they are visible, active and making a positive contribution within their communities throughout the year, not just during election campaigns.
I look forward to helping strengthen our Association, support our local communities and play my part in building a positive future for the Conservative Party across Rutland, Stamford and the surrounding areas.
